Frequently Asked Questions
How hot is the Carolina Reaper Sriracha?
Seriously hot — far hotter than our original Olé. It's made for experienced heat lovers, so start with a few drops and build up from there.
How is it different from the original Olé?
It starts with the same base — red jalapeño purée, mirin, seasoned rice vinegar and a touch of honey — then adds Carolina Reaper chilli for a much bigger, longer-lasting burn while keeping that smooth, garlicky sriracha flavour.
What is a Carolina Reaper?
A chilli bred in South Carolina, USA, and one of the hottest chillies in the world. It held the Guinness World Record for the hottest pepper for a decade.
What do you put it on?
Burgers, noodles, dumplings, eggs, stir-fries and marinades. To tame it a little, stir a few drops through mayo for a fiery dipping sauce.
Is it vegan and gluten-free?
It's gluten-free and vegetarian, but not vegan — it contains a touch of honey.
Is it available all year?
It's a small-batch seasonal special, so grab a bottle while stocks last.
